Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This policy applies to Ashrey Diagnostic Center’s services, our website at ashreydiagnostic.com, our patient portal, and the Ashrey Diagnostic Center mobile application for Android and iOS. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to have it deleted.
1. Information We Collect
When you book an appointment or use our services, we collect the following information:
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Appointment details (date, time, branch, and services availed)
- Medical-related information you voluntarily provide (e.g., reason for test, prescription uploads)
- Payment information (processed securely; we do not store card details)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and confirm your appointment bookings
- Send you booking confirmations, reminders, and result notifications via email or SMS
- Improve our services and patient experience
- Comply with applicable Philippine laws and health regulations (DOH, PhilHealth)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only with:
- Licensed medical professionals involved in your care
- Regulatory bodies as required by Philippine law
- Your employer, where a test was arranged and paid for by them (for example, a pre-employment or annual company examination)
We also rely on the following service providers to operate our systems. Each processes data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations:
- Dashlabs — laboratory information system that processes and stores test results
- Maya — online card and e-wallet payments. Card details are entered on Maya’s systems and never reach ours
- Clerk — account sign-in for the patient portal and mobile app (name and email address)
- Supabase — database and file storage hosting for our records
- Amazon SES — delivery of confirmation and results-ready emails
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and restricted access controls. However, no system is 100% secure — please contact us immediately if you believe your information has been compromised.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal and medical records for a minimum of 10 years in accordance with Philippine health regulations, unless you request deletion and it is permissible under the law.
6. Your Rights (Data Privacy Act of 2012)
Under Republic Act 10173, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is processed
- Access, correct, or update your personal information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC)
7. Deleting Your Account and Data
You may ask us to delete your patient portal account and the personal data we hold about you. To request deletion, email privacy@ashreydiagnostic.com from the address on your account, or call any branch, stating your full name and date of birth so we can identify your records. We will confirm within seven working days and complete the request within thirty days.
What is deleted: your portal and mobile app account and sign-in credentials, your saved family members, your contact details and saved addresses, and any prescriptions or identification documents you uploaded.
What we must keep:laboratory results and the records of the examinations that produced them. These are clinical records, and Philippine health regulations require a licensed laboratory to retain them (see section 6). Deleting your account removes your ability to sign in and see them; it does not erase the laboratory’s record of the work performed. Financial records required for tax and audit purposes are retained on the same basis.
If you only want to stop receiving messages, you can ask us to remove your email address and phone number from notifications without closing your account.
